Research Coordination @ Ryerson U
Project Protech is a community project funded by Univeristy Health Network, Canadian Institute of Health Research and Ryerson University. PROTECH provides PACER Training Program to frontline healthcare professionals. As the PACER Coordinator at Project Protech, I assisted with both qualitative and quantative analysis for the 28 cohorts that have completed. I coordinated cohorts and commnicated with all the participants and facilitators. I also managed all the PACER-related documentations and meetings.
H.B. Beal Secondary School
I taught nutrition and sewing classes for Grade 11 & 12. In an eight-month period, I conducted and created learning plans, educated students over the topic of cooking, agriculture, food culture and donkey milk. After many cooking classes, those high school students helped me realize that food oftentimes is what holds a family together, and being able to transform food literature into food culture is meaningful.
Deloitte x Ivey Entrepreneur Case Competition
Through a three-day competition, I worked with my partner to create a blockchain ticketing company from scratch. We demonstrated MVP, used specific strategies to identify the vision and mission, and provided financials projections. We won the competiton by making to the third round of picthing to investors at Ivey Business School.
Experiential Learning
Partnering with Habitat for Humanity, we built homes from ground up and worked under conditions of ambiguity and uncertainty in New Orleans, USA. Our tasks include building walls, painting, flooring, etc. I developped a profound understanding of intercultural competence, sensitivity, and the social complexities in New Orleans. Although globalization is “paused” in 2020, intercultural intelligence is instrumental for business success.
